VirtualBox Guest Additions are a collection of device drivers and system applications designed to optimize the performance and usability of a guest operating system. Setting them up inside a Windows Guest Operating System (Windows OSE/VM) unlocks essential capabilities:
Seamless Mouse Pointer Integration: Eliminates the need to hit the host key to release the mouse from the VM window.
Automatic Display Resizing: Resizes the resolution natively when you stretch or full-screen the VM window.
Shared Clipboard & Drag-and-Drop: Allows you to copy text and move files seamlessly between host and guest systems.
Shared Folders: Allows easy directory sharing between the host machine and your virtual environment. Step-by-Step Installation Guide
