How to Set Up GeoZilla to Keep Your Kids Safe GeoZilla is a cross-platform family locator app designed to provide real-time location tracking, emergency alerts, and peace of mind for parents. By utilizing cellular networks, Wi-Fi, and GPS signals, the platform ensures you can monitor your children’s movements seamlessly across iOS, Android, and wearable devices. Setting up the app requires explicit consent from all participating family members, fostering a transparent environment centered on safety and trust. Step 1: Install and Configure the App on Your Phone
The initial setup begins on the primary parent or guardian smartphone.
Download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Launch the app and register your account using your email and a secure password.
Grant permission for Location Services (set to “Always Allow” or “Background Access”).
Enable Notifications and Motion/Fitness tracking to activate advanced driving and location alerts.
Select Create a New Circle on the home dashboard to generate your private family network. Step 2: Connect Your Children’s Devices
You can connect your children to your private circle using their smartphones, an Apple Watch, or a dedicated GeoZilla hardware tracker. Option A: Connecting a Child’s Smartphone Install the app on your child’s phone. Open the app and choose Join an Existing Circle.
Scan the QR Code or type the invite code generated by your parent app.
Accept all required background permissions on their phone to ensure stable tracking. Option B: Connecting a Dedicated GeoZilla GPS Tracker Open your parent app and expand the side menu. Tap on My Devices and then swipe down to select Connect.
Locate the 9-digit device ID printed on the back of the physical tracker.
Type the ID into the app and assign the device to your child’s profile. Step 3: Set Up Critical Safety Features
